I knew for some time that one day I would aspire to run a cat-inspired boutique. After two close friends passed away within days of each other, both from cancer, I was inspired to start one NOW rather than to “wait until the time was right”! My friend Jodi was always one who chased her dreams. She left a career behind in 2012 to pursue her dream of being a successful dog walker/runner. As she saw her life slipping away (at age 39) she told all of us, “Don’t wait; follow your dreams!” So I am! Within one month, we were booked two months out. Our clients were constantly asking for help with so many skin/coat/health issues we noticed during grooms. So we researched and brought in healthy natural pet foods and supplements. Eight years later we now have four groomers (and still have a two-month wait list). We grew so fast, it took us by surprise, and we haven’t had a chance to catch up and enjoy what we are doing. Nat and I, the owners, slowed our grooming to only our favorite people and now run the retail section of our shop. This is a learning experience.
